The dealer pitched the extended warranty to me when I took delivery, but 2 years/24K miles sounded quite a ways off then. Now at 15K I'm wondering if maybe I'd ought to be thinking more seriously about it. As I remember it, they said I could add the extended warranty anytime up to the deadline at the same price (which I don't remember). Anyone know if that is correct? Or if it might vary among dealers....and how much the extended warranty costs. So far, I haven't had the first problem, but at 100 bucks an hour it wouldnt take long to eat up the price of a warranty.
