warranty info?

Hello, I'm still waiting on my Smart. Just curious about the warranty and extended warranty options. I appreciate any info, advice, comments....

2yr 24,000 miles. Extended different at each dealer. Best to discuss those options where you're getting your car.

I did NOT take the extended warranty. I figure, IF it looks like "The Red Pearl" may need many dealer visits, I have 12 months / 12K to take them up on it. If not, nothing lost. I DID take the wheel and tire warranty. It was only $395 for 5 years and rims are expensive, IMHO
