Well gosh, I thought someone would have posted by now how that went. I'm a bit late, but here it goes. Maybe some of the others will chime in and give their perspective.
I was pleased at the lines. It seems like most of the folks waiting were reservation holders. I spread the news about this site and how helpful it is to me on keeping up with the reservations etc.
My test drive was fun. I was shocked at how high it sat. I LOVE IT. What a concept. The width of the vehicle was wonderful and will do great on me commuting with my son.
I was lucky enough to drive one of the 2008 US models. I noticed some of the cars had Canada tags so I guess they are older. My car had less than 20,000 on it.
I need to play around with the shifting. I think me doing it manually will be smoother. That was kind of hard to get use it. I'm use to having control over that.
It seems like all the info I've heard here is what they said on saturday. One guy asked when he could 'buy' one, and they said make a reservation, that is how they are selling them at the moment.
I liked the ledge in the back to throw my purse too.
I decided to go up to a Passion (was thinking pure) since I was going to add AC and upgrade the stereo. I love the passion wheels, so what the heck. Now I just need the dollars and the smart.
