Is it easy to take the panels off and wax them separately, so that you avoid getting wax on the black plastic? I haven't needed to wash my car yet, but it sounds feasible...

Some brilliant person on one of these forum threads suggested spraying WD-40 on a rag and wiping the black areas to remove wax residue. I works wonderfully. And, much easier than removing panels.

I checked in to getting some Smart Wax. They asked for pictures of my car which I sent but still no reply yet. It has been 3 weeks. Guess I'll keep using my Wizards for now.

Hi Jim! You should received your samples any day! I got mine from them and if it ever stops raining on the weekends I plan on trying it out. Gotta take before and after pictures though.

While you're at it why don't you remove the engine from the car to change the oil.

Hey!! good idea! it would be much easier except the motor comes out from underneath, while you are under there, change the oil.... Now if you were changing the air cleaner, well for that i'd pull the motor...
