wax question

i have seen on you tube the comparison of coatings like Rejex and others and the stuff is amazing with rain but i can't afford such expensive stuff. so, i was wondering in using a good grade of carnuba wax does it create a small static charge when polishing that will attract dirt?

i apolozize that i have forgotten to thank all of you for your input so here is a big THANK YOU

ps since no one has responded to my right button (ie illumination and clock) not working i guess i will have to tear into it and was wondering how to get the instrument bezel off

thanks again (still haven't got the seat fixed or figured out the unlabeled fuses)

Rejex is about $20 for a 16oz bottle. The same amount of carnauba wax seems to run from $10 to around $27 for Meguiar's G7016 Gold Class Carnauba Plus Liquid Wax at Walmart.
