Well, I've enjoyed owning the Fortwo but with nice weather coming I wanted something a bit sportier this year. I traded it in on this:





If you don't know, it's a Pontiac Solstice GXP; not as roomy as the Smart, but quite spry. The big shocker - the dealer gave me $10.5k in trade for my Pure ($11.3k new, +EPS and AC). Not bad for a year's depreciation...

This isn't goodbye, though, as I intend to keep lurking here and seeing what's up in the Smartverse.

Huh, the Monroney sticker says 22/31. Not as good as the Smart, but better than my BMW Z4 M Coupe, which is 16/24!

You got the coupe or convertible? or is the GXP a specific model only in one body config?

See, if you would of just bought a convertible smart in the first place, but a body kit and 17's on it you would of had something sporty.

I've got the convertible. GXP denotes the performance model (turbocharged). You know, I often thought I should have got the Smart cabrio...
