West coast meet up in las vegas?

There has been lots of talk about having a National type meet up in Las Vegas and have ask me to get it started. So this is me getting it started with the help of all of you.

But first this is for the people who don't know me. My name is Jimmy, I am the organizer/president of SinCitySmarts. We are a long over due car club out of Las Vegas Nv. We started with 2 cars and now have 21... and growing.

So before I go knockin on doors and putting together a weekend package deal for smart car owners in my home town, The Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada, I need to know how many people would come here For a National type Meet-Up? and what would you like to do while you were here?

If I were to put together something right now it would include something like: 2 nights Hotel, Saturday Morning car run either to Red Rock, Mt. Charelston or the Hoover Dam, maybe a nice dinner and a show Saturday night, or maybe even the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. There is lots to do here it's just figuring what...

So if this sounds like a weekend you would like to be a part of, speak up so we can grab the attention of some big time sponsors and make this dream a reality, I'm talking about attendees and vendors...

I haven't been to Vegas since 1983, ending a three year residence there at that time. There's no way I'd be able to attend. But, as a former resident, my two favorite things in the area were Mt. Charleston and Hoover Dam. IMO, either one would make a great drive for the gathering, but the mountain gets the edge. OH, and definitely in the cooler months, just in case anyone would like to get out of their cars.

I would consider driving down in one of my smarts from British Columbia for a major meeting in Las Vegas. Perhaps a few others would too.

MAYBE YOUD LIKE TO HAVE SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS DOING CERTAIN JOBS AND TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH THEm DAILY.

like have 2 -3 for advertising to spread the good word, put a flier toghther that can be distributed everywhere.
another 1-2 to gather donations from smart dealers, accessories, wheel n tire shops, passes for shows, car museums, buy1 get 1 such as plane rides in the canyon
somebody involved with getting a list together with things to do, dates and times.
id stay away from the refund problem i dont think it went over well.
maybe someone to contact the vendors and keep them on a heads up program.
check with the casinos and ask if they have some promotional items
im just bored and throwing alot of ideas out there.
