what do you do at the red light in your smart?

When you're at the red light and people drive by staring or are next to you and stare at your smart, how do you react?

Do you just sit there staring straight ahead, or do you look around and just smile at everyone or wave?

I'm just curious how people here respond.

This is why I will be tinting my windows. My previous car was a kit car and luckily for me it was so low to the ground that I couldn't see anybodys faces around me at signals. Until my windows are dark I'm just going to try and ignore them, it gets kind of annoying after a while.

I smile like a cheshire cat! It's fun to see the reactions.... sometimes I get a thumbs up.... once got a wink! ;) This is half the fun of having this car!

I agree SmartAnita! I look around and almost always catch someone's eye, looking at my smartie. I smile, sometimes wave. If I get a wave or a honk or a thumbs up - I always return them.

Usually smile at the cute ladies that are smiling back at my smart. Well unless the wife is in the car that is.

It was fun at first, but got old after a few weeks. I tinted and now am more relaxed at lights. Sometimes you just don't want the attention, but you still wanna drive the car.

If it's somebody cute looking at my car I'd be sure to make eye contact and smile or wave But I try to look at other people to look at their reaction. I've noticed some will do a double take and then see a smile on their face. Some will take pictures with their camera phone and I try to wave at them.

I always smile and wave. (Then try to give them a smartcenterportland sticker or business card - wait did I say that?!) ;)
