What does it take to reserve???

Hey!

Finally got to test drive a smart for the first time yesterday! i was wondering what you have to do to reserve?

What i "think" is that you just pay the $99 and then when the car arrives that is when you do the financing and all of the $ stuff...or do you finance online...or do you have to visit a smart center when you reserv to look at your credit or something?

Just go to smartusa.com - you can configure your car and make your reservation there. The financing, etc., is all do when the car arrives. If you want to try to get a car sooner you can put in your reservation and then call or visit your local dealer to get put on an "orphan" list.

ok thats what i thought...so you just do the $99 online to reserv...then it get shipped so many months later...then when you can get your delivery, that is when u deal w/ the financing (money stuff) ?

You work out financing at the dealer when you get your car.

Or bring a check from your credit union, whatever is more attractive for you.

Once you confirm your reservation, go get on a dealer orphan list if you don't want to wait a year or more to get your smart.

...the long wait

I know the long wait helped me get my money in order - my loaded car is expensive! my financing was determined by my credit, or lack there of. you can't put the whole amount on a credit card either...not like i have a credit limit that can support that...LOL

Consider reserving NOW-
You may not be able to 'handle the wait'

(search 'yaris')
