When the ice and snow are pretty bad, there's nothing like the security of our 2006 Grand Cherokee. I absolutely love the Smart Car but don't use it as much in the winter, partially because I don't want to get salt on it. Our Mazda6 is the worst for traction, must be the wide tires.

Nice, and that mileage out of a 6.1 is not bad at all. Probably one of the best/most unique cars recently (along with smart).

I drive my 99 V6 Dakota, she will normally drive the smart (it is hers afterall and it could not handle the road to my office), she will drive her 02 DOHC V6 Sable in wintery conditions or whenever we need the extra space. The final car is my 95 T-bird w/ the 4.6V8, it is the one that sits in the garage and is only driven when nice out, this is the fun project car. Yeah, there are 4 cars for two young adults.

My 08 smart is my primary vehicle. My b/f got a pretty bright blue 08 Ford Escape back in March/April. The Escape sits in the parking lot till the weekend and/or we need to fit more than 2 people in the car. We drive the smart 90% of the time. However, when it finally ever does snow here I will not be driving my smart. It's not that I'm afraid to drive her in the snow, I'm afraid of all the other crazies on the road around here. I think I would rather pack on the already over crowded metro for the day. And in the summer you can usually find me on the back of the 05 Harley Road King even back and forth to work. At least until I get my own bike.

Up until Saturday I had an 2006 BMW 330i with the performance package but since I bought my smart I only drove the BMW once and that was to get a new windshield. I decided to get rid of it on Saturday. As I was at the dealership, on the showroom floor was an 09 m3, grey with red leather interior.......I almost bought it but said to myself why? I love my smart car!

Now my Smart car is my only vehicle and I am very proud of it, not to mention my checkbook is also since I paid cash for my smart car and my insurance is 600 bucks cheaper every 6 months
