what are most you getting mpg?

I just filled up my smart for the first time. The car has 215 miles at my first fill up. put 8.1 gals. That works out to 25.8 mpg. this was mostly in town driving with some interstate thrown in. I do expect the mpg to go higher since the motor is not broken in really. So I am not concerned.

So I was wondering what you guys are actually getting mpg wise?

David

First time fillup?? Not to worry - your mileage will go up! My first tank was only about 27mpg and that included about 170 miles of freeway driving.
Most of my driving is around town - 35 to 50mph and I average about 38mpg. . . and I've only got 3700 miles on her now.

37.69 mpg

My first recorded mileage with only 800 miles on the smart = 37.69 mpg. This was only local driving, (many trips of only 3 to 4 miles in town) in hot Kansas weather with the AC running. I am very pleased with the mileage.
