Ridiculously undamaged salvage smart. What the hell where the insurance people thinking. This car had to have been totaled out to end up in the salvage yard. I randomly stumbled upon this car today.
Ohhh, a nice low mileage motor.....leather seats that have been naturally acid rain conditioned and the air bag blown on the drivers seat.....gauge pods....radio 9...Nice PARTS CAR! I likey.
As far as undamaged. Look closely at the lower tridion in the picture...it's toast. They got nailed pretty hard.
It said front damage so I was looking at the front. This car was tbonered but still the it's only slightly bent down there. The seat airbag has gone off but the steering wheel did not.

Like any other modern high strength steel unibody, one good shot and it's done. Not surprising. That considered, would you rather it be your 65K Mercedes? Your insurer wouldn't.
