SHOOT! I didn't even notice it had foglights too! Can't figure out a car this loaded not to have the Radio 10 unless the owner planned to get an aftermarket radio later on.

Chrome wheels

The wheels look as if they are the chrome ones. I was charged $500.00 each on my orphan for the chrome wheels.

Clearly, from a numbers perspective, it didn't make sense to fix. I'm not sure how many body shops have experience in repairing the tridion cell.

I'm not sure if its still the case, but at one time, Mercedes used to send their engineers to investigate/review thier car when a mercedes car was in an accident (maybe only fatal accidents?) and perhaps this was a similar case where Mercedes suggested the car not be rebuilt but parted out/salvaged.

The car is sacrificial....... if it protects the occupants, it has done it's job. If you whack a unibody on one corner, the damage will ripple thru the whole car. You can straighten it to en extent, but it'll never be right.

It looks like that left front suspension/steering took a pretty good whack, too! Even so, lotta stuff for someone interested in the work/cost . . .
BRoberts - those look like stock silver wheels, not chrome.
