Take the scenic ride from Albany to Underhill VT, stopping at Montpelier to get the VT plates put on it... And then we'll go from there.

Yank out the factory radio, install my aftermarket radio with the XM, and install the amature radio and antenna. Put on window tint 35% all around, install an aftermarket moon roof that actually works, swap out the wheels with the 12 spokes if possible, and change the shifter back to the eurospec just to confuse all the dumb Americans...

I've been thinking a lot about this question as my D-day finally approaches.

I live about 15 miles from smart center Sacramento, so that first trip home will certainly be a combination of cautious driving and responding to stares.

After tucking her safely into the garage so I can give her a thorough going over, I'll read the manuals and try out all the features (after all, I'll want to appear confident and familiar when I start showing her off.)

So, after patiently waiting 11+ months for her arrival, looking at her picture every day on the Mac and on the VAIO, on the iPhone, taped on the mirror in the bathroom and pinned to the wall in my cubicle - that first night...

...I just want to fall asleep in her (at last) with 6 Paris Musette CDs softly playing on the radio 10. Now THAT will be a dream come true!

Depends on the time of day and my mood. I've narrowed it down to about 3 options.

A. I might would like to head over to Strokers in Dallas. How cool would it be to have bikers paying attention to a car for a change?

B. I'd really like to go by the VA in Dallas. I do volunteer work over there and know many there on staff and that are patients. Of course most would see it in time but I'd love to share that first day giddy excitement.

C. Come home and give my lil smart a first bath and wax job. I'm all about keeping a new vehicle clean and protected. And I'd have to look for a car cover. NEED a car cover. Though I have thought of parking my lil smart in the travel trailer. Garage is already full with H3, HD Sporty, HD Softail, and HD UltraGlide Classic.
