I only had the ocassion to use my heated leather seats once so far and I can tell they are going to be great in the Green Bay winters, I also wish I would have ordered the pod tach/clock, they look cool but when I ordered my car I wasn't even aware of them, I may have them added at a later date.

okay this is lame but... I only got two options - metal paint and the pod clocks....

And I think a smart without the pods simply loses the character it should have

My family have quaintly dubbed my rev/clock pods - GARY EYES.....

For those who know anything about sponge bob and his pet snail - you'll know exactly what I am talking about

Cheers

#1 Heated Seats, both passenger and driver find these therapeutic
#2 Rain sensing wipers. Never had them before, always wanted them. After driving for two months finally caught some rain. During a weekend, drive at speeds which varied from city to freeway, the wiper programing performed flawlessly. Throughout the variation of rain density and car speed, the wipers activated only the minimum amount required to maintain clear vision. It was so nice not to have the continuous motion of standard wipers.

I'm thankful for the little things.

With this option, can you set the wiper on/off and speed manually? This is actually the thing I dislike abou the comfort package (strictly my opinion). Also, I read that the windshields for smart's with this option are $1k +.

The wipers can me manually set to off, on-slow, on-fast, or auto. I had read negative comments from others which said the auto-sensing wipers did not perform well, so I expected them to be a gimmick. But instead found the performance very well programmed, which was a pleasant surprise.

As for windshield replacement cost, I've read different information. Some said the dealer charged an extra amount to replace the sensor assembly along with the windshield. While others had theirs replaced without paying for a new sensor.

Most likely a difference between dealers, or glass shops. Since the sensor option is only available on US models, we'll need to monitor this a while before the truth emerges.
