While I was waiting on my Smart I shopped around for a small car, the first one I tried on for size was the Yaris, I am 6'3" and 250, I could not fit in the car unless I put the seat all the way back and leaned the backrest back like a fighter plane. The I wen to Honda and tried the Honda Fit, I got one of the first ones, absolutely great car, lots of zip and room, 33-34 MPG daily and 40-41 on long trips. Back seats fold flat into the floor. I cannot envision anyone buying a Yaris if they test drove a Honda Fit. But maybe "Normal" sized folks will fit better than I did.

I also shopped the Yaris against the Fit. And I am a "normal" size dude.
I bought the Fit.

The combination of a Honda Fit and a Smart is almost unbeatable. Well at least there are two of us with that combo.

Hey that's no joke. GM just said the other day that the new Volt will be around $30,000 And then they wonder why they don't sell cars. A Soltice with a few options costs around $30,000 too. As far as I know there are no parts on the car made with 24 karat gold ;)
