Wheels, Roadster -> fit the 451?

I'm just asking to be sure,
would the roadster alloys also fit directly to the 451?

Dimentions are:
Front: 5x15 et34
Back: 6,5x15 et-1

And would the "original" pure tires work on this?
(have not got the "smart leaflet" available at the moment, so not sure about the dimmentions)

Was hoping to wear out the "new" set first,
and need the steel version for the snow tires...
Get's a bit slippy here in Norway when winter sets in...

Sorry, but no they won't fit, the offset on the back is too big, so the wheels would stick out too much on the 451 backs.
There are far more alloys you can get for the 451 than for the roadster anyway, so don't worry.
Interestingly, 451 wheels fit on the roadster but you need a huge 60mm spacer for the back, so there is balance issues.

Thanks..

I only thought these would look sooo god on the 451..
I really like them..

Might end up with a simple set of alloys then..
Not put into my budget at the moment..

Kind regards
Thanx

(Who might get a new Smart 451 on wedensday 30 of april, if everything goes by the plan)

RWC wheel

This looks very, very similar and appears to be a fit for the 451. Would have to include shipping from Canada.

:-)

Nice, thanks jwight!
Although shipping is quite far, to Norway.. ;-)

Just speaking hypothetically,
would it be possible to machine the original alloys down a bit?

I guess the offset is only related to the actual center of the alloy?
Correct me if I'm wrong..
I was just thinking, if one could "shave off" some of it, it might fit?
Ok, it might be a bit more work than what it's wort.. ;-)

60mm is not exactly a shave, and it would compromise the strength of the alloy, plenty alloys to fit the 451 anyway.
