Wheels and tires from Canada

Man-oh-man I hope this isn't what we can expect to pay for a set of aftermarket wheels and tires ...
http://www.star-lounge.ca/index.php?topic=78.0

I like the Brabus Monoblock VI's ... but it's like $2600 for a set of 15's with rubber ... and $5200 for the 16's !! cripes! I'm in the wrong business ...

I was thinking this was Canadian dollars (which it is) but the exchange rate is about 1:1 right now. Let's hope that a US wheel manufacturer steps up to make some good 3-luggers.

Has anyone seen something more reasonable (or am I reading the prices wrong?)

Here's a little info I got from Eddy at FlyingTiger (Canadian parts):

Hi Chris,

Your 2008 Smart (Code 451) is very different then the older 450. Most
wheels cannot be crossover.
Brabus Monobloc VI for the 451 are not readily available. Hopefully in a
month or two. One we have them, we will be selling them to the states.
Stay tuned to:
www.star-lounge.ca and http://shop.flyingtiger.ca
Thanks,

Eddy

Yes, as long as this stuff is imported from Europe we are at the mercy of the weak dollar; don't see that changing anytime soon.
