When do the 2009's come out?

If I order this weekend will I be getting a 2009 or 2008? I want the 2009 model but I am unsure when to order it. Thanks

Someone said somewhere that reservations made after January 17, '08 would be '09 models; but, I think this is just conjecture. I'm wondering if people who ordered last fall will not also get '09s.

I think based on the number of reservations compared to the number of cars being produced, you would be pretty certain to receive an 09 if you reserved today. (SWAG)

I am reserving in one week (1500) for hopes of an 09 to go with my 08 (1276)

My advice would be to put in your $99 ASAP. When the announcement is made as to 2009 models you will be in line. Should you be offered an 08 you can always cancel, get a refund, and re-apply. I'm a 1470 to follow up my 1369 for that very same reason.

Though the 2008 U.S. car introduction was timed for January '08 deliveries, it is apparent from the overseas sites that the new model year production begins in September.

So when should I put my name on the list say april 08 to to get an 09
