The larger rims are going to change the way the car handles; I know going from 10 inch Mini rims to 12 inch makes a big difference on that car. I'm sure people will fit larger rims but be prepared for the difference in handling.
Here's your problem Bucky. New rims, unless they are a dealer installed option, will not have the tire pressure sensors. You will have to get used to driving with a warning light constantly on. That being said Loriser makes them for the smart. Check out the Canadian forum as someone has a set for sale.
