Where to get double din radio adapter?

I am expecting my Pure any day now. Since it does not come with a radio, I would like to get one in asap, since the drone of three cylinders does not sit well with me.

I am looking to install a double din unit with Nav. Kind of have my eyes on the Eclipse that has a detachable TomTom in it. That way I can still take my Nav with when I am traveling!

I found the adapter kits on ebay (through Germany) and on some of the UK websites, but I would prefer not spending and extra 100% on shipping.

I tried contacting Crutchfield and Scoshe and neither have any applications for the Smart yet.

Has anyone found a source yet?

I also searched a lot and didn't find any domestic sources. Since there are just a few hundred (or less) pures out there, good luck finding someone who has them. eBay.de or ebay.co.uk is your best bet. There is a thread here I started about an in dash GPS unit. Search for "GPS", it had installation pictures including the double din fascia.

Just so you know, Eclipse is one of the maufacturers that make a unit that is fully IPOD compatible, in that it will display all of the song information on the actual eclipse unit, and permit you to control the IPOD from the unit, so that is something to think about.

On Ebay today, check out Item# 110190647276 for $24.20 plus $8 shipping to the US for a 451 Double Din Facia Plate. However, this price doesn't cover the harness and metal adaptator. Thanks, Regina

I just got an Alpine iDA-X001 from Best Buy for $80. Full ipod controls and on screen display just as on ipod. It's normally $400, search around the web and you'll find out how to get it on the cheap, but they are selling out fast.
