The buttons are iluminated in the same collor as the display. This is hand at night when you want to switch between the modes(i.e. switching from trip computer to gauge mode).
I would rather leave it as is. I have one that I purchased to track down some codes and issues on my fathers and my pickups. I use it for the economy gauge on the car, but it does not instantly update as quick as an analogue gauge.
so.... some day in the not so distant future(?) there will actually be a car to mount this driving aid, i wonder what sort of discount there might be in bulk
