They did a whole segment on the fuel efficiency of the Smart this morning on Good Morning America. They called it "The Biggest Bang For Your Buck?" I've never been so happy to get out of bed in the morning. Chris Cuomo tried it on for size, and they gave it props for being stylistically superior to other compact cars, and financially superior to hybrid cars which take about five years to pay you back.

I saw it. My mom called and left a message and my husband called me at work to tell me! It was a good segment and helps to get people familiarized with the Smart. I live in a rural community and I just get a lot of looks like its a circus car or something. Now when I hit the city I get my props!!
Mary;)
I saw it, too. I was sitting at the airport, bleary eyed, drinking a cup of coffee and waiting for a 6:00 AM flight, when I looked up and saw a Smart! I was instantly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (or I would have been if I had a bushy tail)!
We saw the show also....But, didn't they say 37mpg's (city estimate) for smart & give hiway mpgs for the other cars; to make our smarties seem to be not as good on gas mileage???
