Who will be the 1st. to receive their 2009 smart?

I thought it would be fun to start a thread to see who would be the 1st. person to receive their 2009 smart.

It will probably be this next week or two. I would like to know about any minor changes that we haven't heard about yet. Their are some rumors about some minor fixes of issues that occured on the 2008 models. Such as the roof shade. Some say that the transmission maybe tweaked a bit. Things like that.

Also who will be the 1st. pictures of their 2009 smart? I'm very curious because I will be getting mine at the end of the month.

Although my 2009 blue Passion coupe was on the boat with the 1st '09's that hit the US (arriving in Baltimore this past Wednesday), I won't be the first to actually take delivery. The trek from MD to MN takes about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, and there are plenty of other dealers that will get their 2009 models before I get mine.

My dealer tells me to expect delivery November 12 - 15.

On 10/30, our DDE started at 11/9. On 10/31, it jumped backwards and now says 10/30. Not sure what this meane, but we're hoping to get ours somewhere around Thanksgiving. We just drove by our dealer to ogle the cars in the back, and there were around 10 of them there, all 2008s....

I just came back from seeing my daughter in Alexandria,Va., the dealer there didn't have any "09's yet. Mine also arrived in Baltimore on Wednesday on the "Talisman". It's an "09 and only has to travel to Latham, NY so I'm hoping to see it later this week.
