Who's got the most miles on their car?

Hello All,

Who's got the most miles on their car? Does any know the life expectancy on the motor? Do you think it will make it a 100K, 250K or higher?

Commuting for just the past 2 months, I've put about 6500 miles on my Smartie. Other than a minor problem with the fuel injector early on, I've had no troubles. I'll be getting the oil changed soon...

Use to be a rural mailcarrier(100 mile daily route)and "any" engine should do 200K with no problem. Over the years here is the mileage of some of my route cars: 1985 Toyota truck-Sold it with 108,000 miles. The guy I sold it to said the body rusted away at 285,000 miles. 1982 Subaru-Sold it with 120,000 miles to my dad. He sold it with 160,000 miles on it. 1992,1993,1995 Dodge Spirits-Sold all 3 of them with over 200,000 miles on them. Only repair was a blown head gasket on the 95 at 170,000 miles. My secret? Oil and filter change at 5,000 miles. Coolant change every 3 years and always added the extra automatic transmission cooler. Changed the transmission fluid every 15,000 miles.

7200 miles at 2.5 months of ownership. It racked up this weekend after a long trip.

Trust me I know! For my daily commute I take something even more fuel efficient Walking and Public Transportation.
My 2008 Land Rover that I got in January has only 2100 miles on it.
My 1997 S4 has 143,000 miles though- and had it since new.

I'm, at 3500 and I know there's some people her with over 10k already...
