Who's got the most miles on their car?

Im at 12,700 miles with 7 mo of ownership, hoping for many more" knock wood" now that gas has come down guess ill drive my truck more save the smart of when gas goes up!

I'm taking our smart in for 10,000 mile service tomorrow. I checked the oil today. It has not used a drop of oil as far as I can tell, and I expected the oil to be black, but it's just amber. Only problem has been with the auto light feature; it does not turn the lights off automatically anymore. It failed at 6000 miles and I will have it fixed tomorrow.

At first mpg was 38, It just started getting better and better. By 4,000 mid 40's became common. As high as 51mpg, but really have to work at it to get above 45 mpg..

Love the attention it gets, except I can't go anywhere without being seen by somebody who says "I saw your car at such and such a place". I carry a printout of the brochure from the smart website and have given countless copies out.

A pleasure to drive! Easy to keep clean and shiny. I can wash and wax it in 15 minutes.

Best car buy in my life. I'm 70 years old and have had many cars.

Picked up my Smart July 20, 2008. I still get stopped, and asked questions about it everytime I go out.

At 3 months I have 4700 miles on mine but I also drive my other car when I think its gonna rain. Heaven forbid I get my smart wet...

Waiting for logical point to "reserve" to ensure a 2010 version to trade Farnsworth in for.... grin.... my warranty plan is to get a new smart every 2 years as long as the trade in is as high as I suspect it will be

I just reached 7,000 and have had Einstein since April 10 which averages out to about 1,000 a month!
