The jerks at the EPA can jog on as far as I'm concerned, they are making all my favorite engines "non-compliant" I cant even buy a decent sized two stroke on-road motorcycle anymore. I'll will eat my hat if someone can show me that a diesel smart, that in the long run, has a more negative effect on the environment than your basic full size truck. This is also California's fault for setting outrageous emissions regulations that force all manufacturers to comply. I do wonder how expensive it would be to install obtain and install a euro diesel engine.
