Why is there a delay when I turn key to start?

seems weird? seems like it should start as soon as you turn the key, not a second or two later

There's another thread on this somewhere; computer needs a few seconds to "boot up." Best approach seems to be turn on the key, adjust seatbelt, mirrors, etc., then when all the warning lights have gone out turn the key to start. Should be be no delay at that point.

Hey, Jwight. I have a question on posting links to a thread. I have had opportunity to answer questions but couldn't figure out how to add a link. Any help?
Thanks, Russ

Russ,

Just copy the url of the link/thread you want to post; when you open the "reply to thread" window, decide where you want to place the link, put your cursor there, then go up to the bottom row of symbols at the top of the reply box, select the "Insert Link" icon (little blue globe with link) and click on it. Paste the link url into the open box, click OK, and then finish your post as normal. You can do a post preview to see if the link is there and it works, prior to submitting your reply.
