Dan, don't take this the wrong way. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your request, but unless there is a firm commitment to purchase (i.e., actual money transferred), I don't see how this would be practical.
Let's say some SCOA member goes there, looks around the gift shop, and makes note of all the watches that are in stock. Then what? That person comes back here in the U.S. and let's us know what watches are available, at which point it's too late to do anything about it.
Or were you expecting that person to go to the smartville shop, take an inventory, then log back online and wait for us to place our orders via SCOA? Forget the 6-9 hour difference; how long is that person supposed to wait at the shop or somewhere nearby for the SCOA forum members to log in and place orders?
It seems like the best way to do this is to research available watches beforehand, pick your top 3 or 4 watches in descending order of choice, place an order and give sufficient money to the smartville visitor before he/she takes off for france, then get a refund for the price difference (if any) when that person comes back with the watch (or maybe just let that person keep the difference to pay for his/her troubles).
Or maybe you can just call the smartville shop and simply order it from them.
