I am actually planning on going to Aachen, Germany in a few months. (It is in West-Central Germany) If you can show me how to get to Hambach, France to visit Smartville and back to Dusseldorf, Germany to catch a flight, I will consider it.
I prefer train as it should be the cheapest mode of transportation. I saw by car and that wouldn't work. Remember we are not in the USA. Its expensive to drive.
Sorry Dancote, didn't make it back there. To Jefferios, Aachen is probably a 3 - 3 1/2 hr drive to Hambach. No train service there either. Closest would be Saarbrucken, about 30 min east of smartville. But if you get the chance to go, by all means do it.
The only watch I saw for sale at smartville was the one I bought that was made by ICE. They make promotional logo watches, these were ordered last year by smart for 10th anniversary. Don't know how many they have left, there were four of them on display. I did buy a really neat bath towel embossed with the smart logo for 10 euro. Try to post a pic later.
