Will a treadmill fit in my smart?

I don't have the tools to measure the inside of my car right now, so I thought I would ask on the forum! Can a treadmill with these dimensions fit in my car? It will, obviously, have to lay on its side.

61" L x 26" W x 49" T

The cargo space is 39" wide, 27" tall, and 21" deep. But that's with the seats up. If someone managed to fit a cello, you may... Without a passenger, of course.
Good luck!

You won't get a cube that size in the Smart. Does this thing not come flat for later assembly? 49" is just too wide to be the flat width.

You realize this is larger than 5 x 4 FEET ?

You could always get a trailer (see the towing section for tips and hints...)

-1 cabrios can't fit everything. I couldn't get between the roll bar and the windshield or the roll bar and the back gate or under the roll bar. The one box I was trying to move had to wait. That box was much smaller than the treadmill.

If one left the gate down and bungee-corded the box to the roll bar, covering the brake lights with this "behind the car" carrying, perhaps, but no - too dangerous.
