Hmm, I always thought the sound was coming from the area where the top sealed against the frame. At least you're in good hands with Michael and the rest of the folks there in Englewood. No matter what my concern has been, they've always been excellent about helping me out.

Just out of curiosity, do you know what they tried as the initial fix?

Mine is not a cabrio. And I don't have an aftermarket antennae

Off topic reply to Padawan: I don't know what they tried. I like Michael and all the other folks at Smart Englewood and they take good care of their customers. But, as you have probably discovered by now, Michael is good at arranging for things to be fixed but is not very technically oriented. Over the last year, I've gotten enough strange "answers" from him about various fixes (which he later corrected when he talked to the techs) that I've stopped asking.
