Windshield Sun Shade

For those of you who have your cars, have you purchased a sun shade for the interior of the car yet? Maybe you don't have your car yet but you know the answer to this. It will be getting warm/hot soon (in some areas) and they help to keep the car cool as well as block UV rays. I would like to get one for my car but I don't know what the windshield dimensions are so I don't know what size to be looking for. There are some really interesting ones here in Japan that I might like to get if they are large enough. So, can anyone help me, does anybody know what size to buy?

I am hoping that someone will come out with one that will exactly fit the smart. I'm temporarly using one of the two spring out shades that was designed for motorhome windshields. It almosts fits all the way across.

JC Whitney sell a Sun Shade that is accordian style with each half suction cupped to the outer end of the windshield and when closed, meets in the center, held closed by velcro. when ordering, you state vertical and horizontal
dimensions.

If I remember correctly, I paid $39.95. It is the only Sun Shade I heve consistently used.
