I love my auto wipers. They work perfect with no weird pattern like you all are saying. I have them on auto 100% I the time. Shows how lazy my ass is. LOL too bad Americans are so lazy. Next thing you know the cars will drive themselves

sometimes the wipers go fast, sometimes slow. when it is dry out, they do not go at all.
doesn't really bother me. whether or not it is a reset pattern i do not care.

Has anyone had the problem with the wiper slapping the side of the window post? My wipers go so fast it slaps the side of the car. I have to have it fixed because it is going to scratch the car.

I had that problem. I took it back to the dealer and they adjusted it in no time.

He named what they were like they were somewhat common.

Someone PM me in a few days if I forget to ask him or post what they are...
Here's what I have on the wiper blades...

"The blades I think we talked about are a generic 'style' called 'flat blades' or 'beam blades'. Lots of brands have these new-style blades in their offerings, including us. Rain-X is probably the best known and most popular.

Did some checking for the SMART fortwo and you definitely have the 'flat blades' on and they will definitely wipe better over the life of the blade. They don't last any longer, but the connection and hug of the curvature of the windshield are definitely better with the flat blades. Yours are what we call the 'Valeo Pinch Tab' style of flat blade and you have a 22" driver side and 21" passenger side blade.

I have a couple of these as samples here and will bring them home with me. No charge. You just have to tell me how they fit and work the first few weeks."
