The "high" setting on the seat heaters is great, maneuvering around snow piles is easy and the high seating position makes visibility very good.

I do wish that Smart would, as others have suggested, put a switch on the traction control. Leave the stability control and anti-lock alone. One could get stuck with the traction control on. And yes, I know I can pull the fuse if needed, but that should not be necessary. I have not needed to do that, but I would like the option of overriding it.

Also, I wish that someone made floor mats that fit around and forward of the pedals, so providing more carpet protection from heavy snow.

Oldbike - Glad you made it home, bud! My 2001 Beetle had a traction control disable switch. Came in handy a couple of times. Should be easy to add a switch in series with the fuse.

True but.......
Anything (like a motor) that contains heat will be robbed of it very quickly if pointed into the wind. That would include driving or idling.
I usually park my truck facing downwind when I plug it on on cold (-30 or colder) nights.
I have driven in temps so cold that you have to stop once in a while to let the engine warm up.
Wind chill is calculated on living flesh but it sure effects a stationary vehicle outside for the night. Frozen fuel lines, jelled AF.
I love Saskatchewan.
