Wonder what you think about mounting this horn

Its probably too big to fit in the front of the car. Painted yellow and black and mounted on the roor (somehow) I think might be very cool.

Nathan K5LA AirChime (K5 Low Mount American Tune) Train Air Horn. Authentic Railway-Use Train Air Horn

If you go to this page below, you can listen to the horn.
Select "Nathan K5LA Airchime" to listen.

What do you think?

I know, I know, its sounds crazy, but wouldn't it be cool if we found a way to mount these horns.

I had a fun time trying to stuff a stebel nautilus under that hood. I wouldn't buy anything from those guys anyway, but you'd better think of something smaller unless you want to bolt it to the roof....

I also have the steibel air horn under the hood (so to speak). And yes, I would have to bolt this thing to the roof to get it to fit. But did you hear it? It really would wake someone up in hurry.

As Duckhunter said, you can't find enough room to install all the air equipment to drive those monster horns. That's why they come with an 80' locomotive as standard packaging...

As a minimum, a full size pickup truck. $2,000 for a horn? I wonder if you could be fined for using it in traffic?

If you did manage to get it mounted . . .

If you did manage to get it mounted on the roof it would probably cost you 10mpg on your mileage~! It does have some frontal area for wind resistance, ya' know~!

Q: Wonder what you think about mounting this horn
A: Do it.

I feel like part of the crowd held up in rush-traffic on the bridge because of a suicidal jumper. "JUMP, JUMP, JUMP...."

Just installed this one on the wifes smart last night.

eBay Motors: Single Trumpet AIR HORN KIT Includes Compressor-135db (item 270288750797 end time Jan-03-09 09:10:44 PST)

Sounds great much louder than it should be but that is why I did it. All of it fits neatly under the little hood flap.
