I put a 4 trumpet horn from Hornblasters in a full size truck for my brother in law, it was a great kit and it is really loud. it sounds like a train.

I don't know where all the componants would go if you tried to fit it in a smart.

it is a lot of stuff to make it go.

Sounds great much louder than it should be but that is why I did it. All of it fits neatly under the little hood flap.

What do you think?

I know, I know, its sounds crazy, but wouldn't it be cool if we found a way to mount these horns.

How about mounting it on the rear wing for added aerodynamic efficiency and top speed boost? Kinda like a sonic nitrous system. It might also help keeping your rear window cleaner (or clean the windshield of the tailgaiting car behind you).

Or mount it on a swivel - rotate it forward for air-brake (or, given the size of a smart, compared to those horns, more like a drag chute...)

Is any horn really worth $1500.00? I will roll the window down and yell for $1500.00 thats insane. You could get alot of stuff for your car for that much cashola, like rims, body kit, lambo doors, color change. I guess if you have all the above and $1500.00 burning a hole in your pocket it would be fun watching people jump out of their skin...

I like where you're going with this. How about mounting it on a 360-degree gymbal? Then, when pinched between two semi's who failed to notice you, you can swivel the horns downward and jump over the offending truck drivers Speed Racer style!

I would love to have the classic Ooga horn.

Here is a sound sample: http://www.hornblasters.com/hbaud/OOGA-2l.mp3

It looks like a lot of room near the rear wheelwells for the horns then your trunk space for your compresser - go for it!

Personally, I'd rather have the horn than any of those...
