Woohoo, first 400 mile tank!

I've gotten close a few times, but I finally hit 400 miles on one tank. Of course, I pushed it to 0.1 gallons to do it and then filled the tank with 8.83 gallons. So, I ended up with a little over 45 mpg for the tank. I've done better than that in mpg terms, but hadn't driven it for distance on one of my better mpg tanks.

I know unicycle and others have done much better, but it's nice to finally be in the official '400 club'.

Excellent. I'm still working on mine, though I've gotten close. Maybe after the triple digit weather ends I can try again.

Did it once, most likely won't do it again. I wound up further from the next station than I had planed and had to go about 10 mile past 0.0 and now after hearing of the guy who ran out at 0.0 I'm not going to push it again.

300+ still makes me happy. and the more left in the tank at 300, the less it cost to fill up.

330 with the 1.0 gal showing. I don't normally run my tanks low like that. That and I don't completely trust that estimate..

My highest miles for a tank was 404.4 mi and my refill was 8.7 g. It happened during the 2d week of July, with 21,165 on the odo.

It was a strange coming-together of favorable winds (or lack of), minimal delay at lights, and a conservative driving style (which I can't usually maintain within one tank ).

Hmmm... My highest tank in the Envoy ... 167 miles.

My mom is afraid of actually filling it up so we have to feed it $20 a DAY!

That needle never goes past half full...

Although I was able to drive 40 miles today with the needle just screaming to activate the "FUEL LEVEL LOW" warning (under 20 miles til' empty). Somehow I beat the gauge at it's game by putting a feather of pressure on the pedal. I held up a long line of cars but the DIC was indicating 25mpg (the envoy normally gets 15 in normal driving) so I was happy.

Hmmm... Not the best idea to visit Illinois Beach State Park when it's only 65F at lakefront.
