Although we see a lot of happy posts about how much people love their car, the problem posts tend to stand out the most. I like this thread about how to enjoy your car.

My comments are NOT directed to anyone in particular. Broken Kid nicely makes a very illustrative point that hit a chord with me within the context of this post.
While it may be anyone's *right* to spout, conjecture, exaggerate, or regurgitate (ad nauseum) any real or perceived problems, I would hope that people would feel *responsible* for how any post or comment might affect a prospective buyer. There are those who are happily awaiting their new cars, just to have someone piss on their joy with a callous conjecture. Many people are not regulars on this or other sites, and don't have time to 'drill down' to sort out real vs. perceived issues. The often-speculative defamatory characterizations of the smart could easily alarm someone who might have been 'on the fence' or sincerely curious about the car. These forums call for a higher order of responsibility for how we speak, and an awareness of how our speaking can and DOES affect others. As Broken Kid pointed out, he (and others) gravitate to balanced, mature, non-complaint types of posts. The car/company/process brings out good and bad, excitement and frustration, upset, anger, etc... Just please consider for a nano-second how any venting or out-of-context comments could affect others. 'Rights' should never overshadow 'responsibilities.' No offense meant to anyone.
