Wow! 3 in ONE DAY!

Bought my smart last August and since then have only seen 2 smarts in my area - low and behold - today I saw 3 in one day! All black one in my hometown, then a Blue and silver 2 towns over and a minute later a white with black tridion...

It was very exciting - I know you all will understand since no one else will.

I saw three today too. 2 were mine and 1 was my dad's.

I understand how exciting it can be to see others "in the wild". Our little town everybody is used to them now. Population something like 1,000 and we've got 6 smarts. Now everyone is like "Hoehumm, no big deal".

Three in one day is great. The most I have seen is two in one day and that was very rare.

your just not hanging in the right places

Imagine how the smart owner who lived across the street felt when he ran into us.
He was so excited he asked us to come over to his house so his wife could see all the smarts.
To bad she didn't come home when he thought she would to see them for herself

On my 80-mile drive into and out of NYC, I've begun to see Smarts on a regular basis. Today it was a cute li'l blue thing driving on the other side of the Palisades (NJ). I've seen a yellow number in Jersey, too. On the streets, I see quite a few Smarts parked around town. Yesterday it was a cherry red 2009.

I see them fairly regularly in our town too, with about 140,000 population, I see like 7-8 different ones regularly. It's funny, I actually get more stares in Nashville, where the dealer is located, then in Clarksville.

One thing I've noticed that is sort of funny, the more smarts in town, the more friendly many of them have gotten. This one couple used to drive right be us in theirs without a glance, but lately they wave and flash their headlights at us. Not everyone if that way though, followed one in the Kroger parking lot the other afternoon and the guy (young guy, maybe 2-3 years younger than me) got out as I was parking next to him. I don't think he saw us, but he might have. He walked toward the store, turned around to get something out of his car and looked right at us. Nothing. As he got back out of the car, my wife said "we had to park next to you." He didn't even acknowledge that.

Saw two yellow/black smarts yesterday; a few weeks ago, I saw a red one and a yellow one on the same day.
