WOW

Did we get hacked good this morning or what

@ 1:30Am this morning every ones (almost) name had been changed to this "L" losers name and I couldn't even sign in.

I'll wait to see if they can restore any more data before I re-report on my trip computer/recorder/GPS (I hate typing twice).

In general there are good things and not so good things, luckily for me the not so good things were thing I weren't going to use any ways.

We did a 150 mile ride today using the trip computer to tell me when to shift and WOW were the shift points different.

It is to early to tell but if I go by the 1 bit of data I have recorded from this evening buy letting the trip computer tell me when to shift I went from getting 65 miles per blip (the fuel gauge mark) to 98 miles per blip.

It is too soon to tell, I need to go through a tank and be diligent and do what the computer tells me, but in the end I believe this will work great on my 450 and most likely your 451s too.

I need to take a trip to NY next Thur. and it's 400+ miles round trip so I should get some good data from that trip, BUT todays results say the car gets better mileage on 40-50 MPH roads than the highway.

I started this project because I wanted a trip computer for my car.

Scangauge II make a GREAT tool but it doesn't work with the G&K Smart, so I started looking into building my own.

X-Gauge I hear is a great tool too, but doesn't work with the G&K Smart
so I really started looking into building my own.

MDC I found costly and because of the crap I got about using my own cruse control I decided to start the research needed to put a project like this together.

If all the remaining posts were lost I'll retype the OEMs part #s, cost, manuals and what parts we SCOA members will get a 10% discount on so others can review.

Welcome Back All

ASM

Same thing folks are finding on the mileage thread for the 451s; drive 'em hard and the mileage goes down. Shouldn't surprise anyone. Would be interested to know where your new shift points are compared to what the car is recommending. Thanks!
