seems like a review of all the other reviews I have read!
i guess that's what the "32 reviews" means...
anyway...

I know plenty of folks who commute (in Southern California) 60-120 miles per day in their smartmobiles...they seem to be okay with the freeway experience.

out my way, I've done trips on SR-91, I-15, I-215, SR-138, SR-18, US-395, National Trails 66...some pretty hardcore highways and freeways...the smartmobile performs admirably...

And, the Washington Post incorrectly identified the smart as front wheel drive.

Seattle Times (and others) keep up the mantra that smart owners are willing to 'sacrifice' something-or-other. I don't feel like I'm sacrificing.

i think the smart should be in a class by itself as well. i didn't buy my smart because of economics/practicality. i just love it because it's the cutest car on the planet. yes, it's a bonus that it gets better gas mileage and i can park it anywhere but i'm suprised they said the crash test rating wasn't that high. i think 4 out of 5 stars is awesome for any car and the smart got 5 out of 5 for some of the crash tests. not sure why this article rated it so low. some people just don't get it. it's like the jeep logo (yes i have a jeep)..."it's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand", well, it's a smart thing, you wouldn't understand! who cares what the critics think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love my smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
