You CAN take it with you

We're Full-timers (RV'ers) and our house has a ten foot garage for our motorcycles. We bought the Smart because it's only 8'8" long. It fit's in the 10' garage perfectly. Unfortunately we can only take the car or the bikes, not both. This is our 8th year full-timing and we're taking the Cabrio instead of the bikes with us on our travels.

I think when ever I needed A/C, take the smart. Then whenever I needed heat and closed windows, take the smart. Then when I needed to talk to the spouse, carry a few items, take the smart. Does this help?

Wow, that is some set up you've got there, do you get away with driving it on a normal car licence or do you have to sit an HGV test or equivalent? Here in Britain I can drive up to 7.5 tonnes on a normal licence, after that you have to sit a Heavy goods vehicle test.
When you say full timers, does that mean you live in the RV all year round?
If it does, where do you get your mail?
Sorry for all the questions, just interested in your lifestyle, and slightly envious, what a way to see America! Where have you seen?

The truck is registered as a motor home so you only need a class-c (normal) license to drive it. I do however have a class-A CDL (HGV) from another life I needed it in.
Wife drives it on her class-c license.
We have an address with a mail service that collects the mail and then sends it to us when we call for it. We get very little mail as most everything is handled over the internet, in fact we will be eliminating our mail service entirely this coming year. We have a winter site in Texas that we go back too every year and will use that for our mailing address.
Yes, we live in our 5th wheel year-round.
We had two stick homes but sold them before the housing bubble burst.
We have covered most of the US, we travel 6 mos of the year and winter the other 6 mos in south Texas where we can still ride bikes. We leave in April and follow the temperature zone north as it gets warmer.
Then we spend the summer months traveling the northern states when it comfortable and then start heading south as the temperature starts getting colder.
We're normally back in Texas by late Sep or early Oct.
We normally put about 7-12 thousand miles on the coach and 4-6 thousand miles on the motorcycles. All this done during the summer months. We really enjoy our lifestyle.
Be glad to answer any more questions.

I Don't know if the WI State Parks can handle a rig like that.

Just thinking of the midwest rally.

Could use your Smart as a hood ornament?

NOT A CHANCE!
I've been to some WI State Parks before and our conversion van & 22' Travel Trailer hookup could barely fit into the lots.

Oh and Headless, I'd love to see the lifestyle in your country too.
It's funny what a couple thousand miles can do to the way people live.
