Fantastic, John! It wasn't until I was on the road for about 2 hours (some 600 miles from home) that I actually believed I would do this. Even tho it rained off and on, I saw hail and snow and the temps were way colder (40) than a summer road trip should be, I'm having a blast. The wi-fi in this place is kinda lso , so I'm struggling in uploading all my pics.

Tomorrow I'm goin to see the Presidents in the Mount! (Mt. Rushmore) - can't wait!

Today was nostalgic, because I worked in Yellowstone when I was 21. Yeah, it's changed a bit. You know it cost $25 to get into the park!!!?

See you all on Friday!

Thanks - I wish I'd thought to get zippy's pic with the bear in the background. Something about seeing wild animals makes your brain kinda slow...

Great updates on your trip Suze!

Now do me a favor. Please slow down!! A lot of the roads you're driving on aren't designed for a Smart doing 300mph!

I also think it would of been cooler to get a picture of the Zippy WITH the bear.

Keep up the updates and have a fun trip! Wish I was able to head up that way.

Fantastic! I know you're enjoying the scenery, and the critters. I've never been to Yellowstone, or to Rushmore ... but, they're on my list.

Be careful, and ENJOY! Keep us updated.

Oh, and what Bumb-Bling-B said, he beat me to it (300 miles per hour? )

OK, guys, relax. I drove 440 miles on Friday to my Sis's house and stayed the weekend. That drive is very familiar, so I still didn't feel adventurous till I left her place and really got into it today.

No, not 300 mph - BUT! Idaho lets you go 75!!! (Oregon limit is 65). zippy loves 75- 80

On the other hand, Yellowstone is 35-45 with lots of stops for bears, buffalo, elk, smoldering pots of stinky stuff and construction.

Tomorrow I'm off through Montana and Wyoming to South Dakota. This trip will be 14 states - which is a lot considering they are Western states.
