It was suggested I call the 1-800-smartusa phone #, and she stated we should be getting a notice for sure, in the next 2 weeks, with deliverary first quarter of 2008.

Hey, we are here in western WI, about 50 mi. from Madison.....hoping to hear from Bergstrom soon.......hoping and hoping and hoping. BTW, the "smart" sign in Madison is for Smart Toyota....no relation to "our" Smart.

I live in De Pere Wisconsin, driving my Suzuki X-90 currently. Might take a trip to the dealership this week to check things out. Called the guy listed on the X-mas card I got. Said he was shootin for Jan 8th.

EEk! I am reading that some of you got a Christmas card from Bergstrom. We
did not get one..........do you think that means we fell thru the cracks? We paid the $99, went to Bergstrom and drove one in ?Oct, ordered one, and haven't heard much since. Now I am getting nervous.....am I destined to drive a PT Cruiser forever?

I didn't get a Xmas Card either. But if your nervous, here's the info. for an email & phone # to Bergstrom in Milwaukee. They are currently open. I understand that they are only starting with the Milwaukee dealership and have hopes for Madison & Fond Du Lac later. I received a response in 20 minutes about test drives, which should happen next week according to Ryan.

Milton, WI logging in. Confirmed order on Oct 3rd for a Passion Coupe, leather seats and almost all the options. I'm in the 1173 reservation class so hoping I'm in a good position to be in on some of the first Smarts in for shipments. Have not been contacted yet but waiting.

I received a Christmas Card from the Smart USA Team but not from the dealership.

A Wisconsin Smart Club would be be great! You can count me in on joining if one should form up.

Love the idea of a Wis. Smart club too. Ryan of Bergstrom said he may have his demo by next Saturday. Have no idea what my number is, but sure would like to have my car tomorrow---------- Well, okay, I could wait until Wednesday if necessary. lol

Ryan said they are getting 27 cars over the next 30 days. I'm not in the first 30 days worth.Res.#1179 Have seen a couple of 1180's from other parts of the country were told they were in the port.Hope I'm in the next thirty days worth. Would like to here from those who are in the first 30. Wondering if Bergstrom is going to rip us off with the high document fees like some of the southern states dealers are?
