bumped into another Smart owner in Green Bay today

I was out at Harbor freight tools on the east side of Green Bay today and as I was about to get into my Smart a little red/black one comes rolling into the parking lot! 2 in one lot in Green Bay, I bet that's a first. The woman driving it said it was the 4th one off the truck back in Jan at Milwaukee SmartCenter and she has been driving it everyday to work up in Sturgeon Bay with no problems. If was kind of funny cuz a few people were gawking about my car and in rolls another one. Anyway I was at harbor frieght to pick up some of that anti-slip stuff for lining tool boxes, they sell 6' rolls at are the perfect width to fit in the cargo area of the Smart, and it actually looks really cool, I put a couple pieces of velcro on each corner and no more slipping packages in the back! I reccomend this stuff.

WOW! that's sooo cool!

other than seeing other smarts while on my test drive, i'm only seen ONE 'in the wild'. while sitting at a light at Kessler Blvd and 56th St on the NW side of Indy, a Black and Silver smart passed before my eyes. caught me off guard, so i couldn't tell if it was a Pure, Passion or Cabriolet, but i was a sight to behold!!!!

can't wait to see another.......i certainly hope i don't have to wait until "I" have one.......

today I was driving south down to Appleton and coming at me on the north lane of hwy 41 is a Blue smart! 2 days I cross paths with 2 wild Smarts.

I've seen 3 smarts "in the wild".

The first one was in August of 07-I couldn't believe it! A Chrysler dealership in LaPorte (IN) was RENTING them. I think they had 2 or 3. Anyway I stopped and talked to the renter and took a couple pictures. It was blue with a black tridon cell-passion model I believe. They had their 9 or 10 y/o daughter scrunched in the storage area!

Second belongs to a felow SCOA member. They were at the local Wal Mart. Theirs is named Poppy. It's white with a silver tridon cell and red interior.

Third-I was driving down US 30 coming west from Fort Wayne and I saw a red with silver tridon cell. I was in my dad's trailblazer at the time but I got so excited I was screaming and my dad and hubby slept through it

I can't wait to see more, but not too many more!
