Enough with the SNOW already!

I picked up my "Ant Bee" (yellow/black/black cabrio) on Friday and it's been a winter wonderland nightmare ever since. I'm dying to take her out and show her off, but the weather isn't cooperating.

Anyone else in Southern Wisconsin getting any drive time in?

My experience in CT/MA so far: Good luck, and budget for good snow tires! I couldn't imagine the fortwo as my only winter car. I hope snow tires help. with the stock tires I couldn't move on my driveway.

I live in Indianapolis and have been driving it as my only car since the end of January.

I don't plan on getting snow tires yet. So far it has been good but then again we haven't had too much snow yet in Indy.

The smart handles just fine in snow and on slippery roads even with the stock Conti's. Look towards getting a better all season radial or snows on separate wheels (some prefer that over AS radials) at some time in the future.
Ofcourse, prudent Winter driving techniques count for alot...especially with rear wheel drive.
It goes good....

Thanks for the reports, good to hear it handles pretty good in snow.

We've got about 1 1/2" of snow & ice build up on the roads I drive and while I'm not too concerned about the smart, but I'm more worried about getting swipped by some joker not being able to stop. Ok, I'm gonna do it. I'm bringing her with me to work tomorrow!
