my car in port May 1 but still no call???

I got my vin# a couple weeks ago from Tony at Smart Milwaukee and after checking tracking online I find my car will be docking in Baltimore this Thurs May 1st but I still havent gotten an e-mail or call. Will they call when it arrives at the dealer? I thought it was standard to get a 30 day call or email?...

If you do not hear anything by May 12th, call them. My smart was at the dealership in Indianapolis for three days and they never called me. I called them on the third day. They looked for it and said, Oh yeah...its here. It took nine days from port to Indy.

hey curtis....we found out when our car was in port and then nothing for about 10 days....then Tony called as soon as it came off the truck..literally the truck was unloading our car when he called.
P.S. if youve been in contact with Tony and Ryan as much as it seems by your posts, im guessing they didn't feel it was needed, our 30 days call came and it still took 65 days ...sounds like you have been getting the most up to date info the dealership has anyway.

my car took 15 total days from the port of Baltimore to the dealer in Chicago (Loeber Motors - Lincolnwood) so would imagine perhaps an extra day thrown in for yours. This can very of course but I'm sure your dealer would be anxious for you to pick-up and pay/finance it so they'll call within a day or so of it actually arriving. Picked up mine this past Saturday - well worth the wait!

How did you get your vin#? Did it come from the dealer or smartusa?

Tony at the dealersip gave me the VIN# and I just received a call from Ryan and he told me he'll do his best to get my car on a truck and on the way to Milwaukee asap...so hopefully my wait won't be much longer..
