I usually go. This year the highlight (obviously for us) would be the introduction of the Smart. But, other than that is there going to be much happening? I know GM, Ford, and Chrysler have pared down their displays dramatically in the past few years. They just might have some old women handing out black and white flyers this year. Chevrolet has the Malibu and the Camaro, (that STILL isn't out) Ford? rehash the Mustang, eh. Chysler can show off the Challenger that's taken seemingly forever to get here - I've seen it now for several years, how long does it take to re-engineer a car that you already know the body shape and size?
The money being spent will be at the European makes - especailly Audi who's making a major push in the American market.
I checked the NAIAS website
http://www.naias.com , and there isn't the usual listing of introductions. Several Chinese manufacturers wiil be there - we should proably go and harass them.
Maybe I'll go just to contribute my money to Detroit who certainly needs the help right now.
