After seeing Smarties everyday for about a week straight now I've gone 2 weeks without spotting one, My parents said they witnessed BadaBing's all black Smart roaming the streets but other than that not a peep....A friend of mine a couple weeks back said a red one was trying to race him on the Mason street bridge, I guess the smart was doing about 80 mph, who's this kook doing 80 on Mason street?
A red/black one was parked near where I work Tuesday. I was driving by and she waved as she was getting out. Then Thursday I saw her again as we both where in the round-a-bout at the end of the De Pere bridge. I didn't get a good look at her license plate but it was custom and started with a D.
Here is flooded SW WI we are still the only one in our area! And I still have NEVER stopped anywhere (except work) where someone hasn't come up to talk about the car! I would have to say 85% are impressed, the other 15% must like paying $100 to fill their 15mpg tanks...... We are planning more traveling the month of July, so will probably see more then. Isn't this just a really fun car?
I haven't driven ours for about a week and a half, embarrassed to drive it becuase I have been too busy to wash it....doesn't bother my wife though. She dirves it all the time! I rarely see them, but we do stick around the Howard area most of the time. How are you enjoying yours, Curtis? Was it worth the wait?! We run into the same thing, Bobarb...can't go anywhere without someone making a comment. It's a blast to drive around in!
